Casa Carolina is a Mexican-Colonial style villa less than a two-minute walk from San Francisco’s (or San Pancho as the locals call it) unspoiled beach. It is surrounded by tropical gardens and is tastefully decorated and designed for maximum comfort and enjoyment.
The home was remodeled and refurbished in 2016 and has a new, open kitchen / living / terrace area, new appliances, everything freshly painted inside and out, new / refurbished windows, pool refreshed, many new furnishings, etc.
The lower level consists of two spacious bedrooms (one with a king size bed the other with two full size beds), two full baths and a common, sunny terrace overlooking the ocean. The upper level has a lovely living room, a newly remodeled kitchen thoroughly equipped, a half-bath and a dining terrace complete with ocean views. From the living room, step outside into the very private, back terrace and pool area. There, you will find yourself surrounded by palm trees and colorful bougainvillea and tropical flowers. Floating around in the pool, as you watch the palm trees sway, will soon become your favorite pastime as the chorus of Margaritaville hums from the stereo. The terrace overlooking the pool has a gas grill and seating area under the trees, for just hanging out. Sunsets and tropical nights experienced here will be forever sealed in your memories.
Keeping busy won’t be a problem as you can join in the activities offered in the surrounding area or explore the town, local beach and hillside at your own pace. San Pancho is a very friendly fishing village and the Main Street is a leisurely, 15-20 minute walk on the beach from the villa. The Mexican people openly extend their friendship and their smiles to visitors, making your visit special and providing an easy opportunity to interact with the local community.
There is a multitude of delicious restaurants in town catering to a variety of tastes that will satisfy all types of hunger. Stop into Maria’s or La Taza de Café for an amazing breakfast, followed by a shot of caffeine at Café Mañana. Find your favorite authentic taqueria amongst Los Arbolitos, Victor’s, or Baja Takeria. Sink your toes in the sand, savor the view and cool down with a cold beer on the beach at Las Palmas. Try the super fresh seafood at Barracuda, the Italian alternatives at La Dolce Amore, or the tasty vegetarian at Café Organico. Finally, put on your best flip flops and sample the fine dining offerings at Serendipity or Mar Plata.
